Sakatah Lake State Park Campground

Sakatah Lake State Park Campground sits on the boundary between Minnesota's prairie and Big Woods, offering 62 semi-modern campsites spread across four loops in a wooded setting. The campground overlooks Upper and Lower Sakatah lakes, natural widenings of the Cannon River. Fourteen sites feature electric hookups, while the remaining sites are non-electric. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring or grill. Campers have access to modern amenities including flush toilets, hot showers, drinking water, and a sanitary dump station. The campground operates seasonally from early May through mid-October. Sites are available by reservation or first-come, first-served. Pets are welcome throughout the campground. Additional Info: - 5 bike-in campsites and 2 group campsites available - Vault toilets available year-round - Public boat ramp, canoe rentals, fishing access, and hiking trails - Sakatah Singing Hills State Trail runs through the park
