About this site
Rothrock State Forest Campsite #3 is one of eight designated primitive roadside campsites along dirt and gravel forest roads. It supports overnight camping in or near a vehicle, accommodating tents or small RVs/trailers depending on site layout. No developed facilities are available: no electric/water/sewer hookups, showers, dump stations, drinking water, or trash service. Picnic table and fire ring are provided. Reservations required via Pennsylvania State Parks and Forests system. Maximum 7-night stay with 48-hour break required. Practice Leave No Trace principles.
