Roman Nose Lower Lake

No camping is allowed at Lower Roman Nose Lake, the most accessible of three sub-alpine lakes in the Roman Nose Lakes area. There are 10 designated parking spaces with overflow nearby. The lake features boardwalks, a dock, and wheelchair pads for fishing. Trail #165 provides access to the middle and upper lakes where dispersed camping is permitted in designated sites. Additional Info: Season of use: June 15 to October 15 (weather permitting). Vault toilets and picnic tables are available. Potable water and restrooms are not available at the site. Horses/pack animals not allowed. Gas powered motorboats prohibited.
