About this site
Rogue River Ranch National Historic Site is a pioneer farm complex and museum managed by the Bureau of Land Management, located at the mouth of Mule Creek on the north shore of the Rogue River in Curry County, Oregon. The site features historic buildings including the main ranch house museum. Primitive camping is available at the ranch; coordinate with caretakers. There is a public toilet, small parking area, and drinking water from an outside spigot. Nearby Tucker Flat Campground (0.1 mile northwest) offers six primitive sites, toilets, and trailhead access; water from Mule Creek requires purification. Access by boat, hike, or high-clearance vehicle via rough roads. Open May through October. Additional Info: Rogue River Ranch is a key stop along the Wild and Scenic Rogue River and Rogue River National Recreation Trail, surrounded by Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest.
