The Rod Gun Campground has seven camp sites. Restroom facilities are available. One of the "Dances with Wolves " film sites is nearby. The campground is located adjacent to Little Spearfish Creek. Potable water available (seasonal, unavailable Oct 1 - May 15). Restrooms available. Open 24 hours/day. Peak season mid-May to late September; shoulder season late September to mid-May. Closes Dec 1 - mid-May due to snowmobile traffic, no services available.
