Rocky Springs Campground
About this site
Rocky Springs Campground at milepost 54.8 on the southern end of the Natchez Trace Parkway includes a 22-site campground, picnic tables, restrooms, a section of the Old Natchez Trace, and self-guiding walking trails through the old town site and the spring. Campground sites are on a first come first served basis with no reservations. Pull-through and back-in sites are available. The campground is typically busiest during spring and fall, especially during holiday weekends. Potable water may be an issue; plan to be self-contained. Additional Info: The site is located near the historic ghost town of Rocky Springs, abandoned in the 1930s. Visitors can explore the old town site, spring, and nearby Owens Creek Waterfall. Campsite 10 is accessible.
