Rocky Arbor State Park Campground
About this site
Rocky Arbor State Park is a 224-acre state park located 1.5 miles north of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin. The campground features 89-90 wooded campsites situated in a mixed pine forest, accommodating both tent and RV camping with sites up to 70 feet in length. The park was established in 1932 to protect 500-million-year-old sandstone rock formations that create a scenic gorge. Amenities include flush toilets, showers, drinking water spigots, electric hookups (approximately 20 sites), sanitary dump station, picnic areas, playground, and a 1-mile self-guided nature trail through the forested gorge. Campsites are shaded and quiet, offering an affordable alternative to nearby commercial campgrounds. The campground operates seasonally from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, though the park itself is open year-round for day use. Reservations are available through the Wisconsin State Park System.
