About this site

Robertsville State Park Campground offers 25 campsites including 12 basic sites and 13 electric hookup sites, all with picnic tables and fire rings. The campground features modern amenities including flush restrooms with hot showers (April 1 - October 31), laundry facilities, a sanitary dump station, and frost-free water hydrants. Sites are well-spaced and shaded, providing privacy between campers. The park, established in 1979 on land that was once a working farm in the mid-1800s, features scenic bluffs, hardwood forests, river bottomlands, and open meadows. Recreational opportunities include fishing for catfish, sunfish, and walleye in the Meramec River, boating with an on-site launch ramp, and hiking on two trails: the 0.9-mile Spicebush Trail and the 2.8-mile Lost Hill Trail. The park also features picnic areas, shelters, a playground, and excellent waterfowl viewing opportunities. Firewood is available for purchase from the campground host. The campground is fully reservable up to 12 months in advance through the Missouri State Parks reservation system, though unreserved sites may be available on a walk-up basis. During off-season (November - March), the restroom near campsite 27 remains open. The front gate closes at 9 p.m. during on-season.
