Riverside Park Campgrounds

Riverside Park Campground is a public campground situated on the southeast side of Riverside Park, a 470-acre park established in 1965. The campground offers 13 campsites and is open seasonally from May 1 through November 1. The park is bordered by the Sangamon River, providing scenic views and opportunities for nature observation. Bank fishing and hiking are available along the mile-long road adjacent to the river. Nearby attractions include the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum and the Illinois State Museum.
