Riverside at Detroit Campground
About this site
Riverside at Detroit Campground is located in Willamette National Forest along the Santiam River. The campground has 37 campsites set in a forest of mature cedars and Douglas fir trees, with campsites spaced approximately 60 feet apart for privacy. The campground is comprised of two sections: the southeast (upriver) section has more secluded sites on a bluff overlooking the river, while northwest (downriver) sites have partial shade and a more open setting. All sites are equipped with picnic tables and fire rings. Water is provided via individual faucet risers located throughout the campground. Three double-vault toilets are located in accessible locations. Waste gray water disposal sites are provided. Firewood is available for sale on-site. The campground has both reservable and FCFS campsites. Tight corners in the campground may not allow passage of vehicles over 30 feet in length. Check-in is 2:00 PM and check-out is 12:00 PM. There is no overflow parking or day use parking.
