River Junction Campground
About this site
River Junction Campground is located within the Withlacoochee State Forest (Sumter County), less than one half hour northeast of Brooksville, FL. This campground is located at the junction of the Little Withlacoochee River and Withlacoochee River at the southern end of Silver Lake and has the following facilities: centrally located restroom and showers, and potable water at each camp site. The day use area has a boat ramp and picnic area. Recreational activities featured here are: fishing, boating, canoe trail, hiking and picnicking. **Pets Allowed**. To insure pets are compatible with other visitors and to protect our forest resources, all pet owners must follow the rules listed below: Additional Info: Facility has 20 campsites with water only and a bathhouse. Each site has a picnic table and a fire ring with a grate and/or a grill. Maximum of 1 RV and 1 tent or 2 tents per site.
