Rio Grande Village Campground
About this site
Rio Grande Village Campground is located in Big Bend National Park near the Rio Grande River at an elevation of 1,850 feet. The campground features paved roads connecting each campsite with grassy areas separating sites. Set in a grove of cottonwoods and acacia trees, the facility offers flush toilets, running water, picnic tables, grills, and some overhead shelters. A dump station and camp store with showers are nearby. The campground accommodates both tent and RV camping with reservations required year-round. Wood and ground fires are prohibited; only charcoal fires in above-ground grills are allowed. One ADA campsite with paved walkway and accessible facilities is available. The Rio Grande Village Nature Trail begins behind campsite #18, with an accessible floating boardwalk portion suitable for wheelchairs. No cell service is available in the area.

Nice access to a trail to the Rio Grande with an overlook of 270 degree views of Mexico. Prefer Chisos Basin overall, but still a nice campsite
