Rim Campground

About this site

Nestled under the pine trees of Muddy Mountain and overlooking the valley below, Rim Campground provides 8 camping sites that include level tent pads and fire rings, with a few pull-through sites for large trailers/RVs. One double-vaulted toilet is provided for camper's comfort. A ring road connects the individual sites and an accessible double vault toilet, which is in the middle of the camping area. Each of the 8 campsites has a flat surface for a tent, a fire ring with grill attachment, and a picnic table with inset legs that allow wheelchair users to pull up to the ends. Some sites have 2 picnic tables. There are no picnic shelters at the Campground but tree coverage provides some shade. Two trailheads provide access to Muddy Mountain's ADA accessible hiking trails linking campers to nearby Lodgepole Campground and to over a mile of single track trails for hikers and assistive devices only.
