Rifleman Phillips Group Campground

Rifleman Phillips Group Campground is a tent-only group site in Golden Gate Canyon State Park at 8,800 feet elevation, restricted to tents with no trailers or motorhomes except two small supply trailers. It features picnic tables, fire rings, a hand pump well for drinking water, and vault toilets. Parking is available for 15 vehicles. Trails lead to Forgotten Valley, Dude's Fishing Hole, City Lights Ridge, and Frazer Meadow. Group showers and laundry are available at nearby Reverend's Ridge Campground. Additional Info: Located in a 50-year-old stand of lodgepole pine. Capacity up to 75 campers. Leashed pets allowed. Reservation required.
