Richardson Park

At 115 acres, Richardson Park is the largest developed park in the Lane County Parks system. Located on the shore of Fern Ridge Reservoir, it’s easily accessible from major roads in all directions and is the closest RV campground to the cities of Eugene and Veneta. While the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers manages the reservoir and lake operations, Lane County Parks leases and operates the campground and day-use areas. With 88 campsites, a large day-use area, and three picnic shelters, Richardson is one of the most visited parks in the system. A standout feature is the 8,000-square-foot picnic shelter, completed in 2004, which includes a full-service outdoor kitchen and seating for up to 300 people. The park also features a 212-slip marina, a designated swimming area, play structures, game areas, and an outdoor amphitheater.
