Richard J. Dorer SF -Zumbro Bottom Horse Camp North is a primitive equestrian campground in the Zumbro Bottoms Management Unit of Richard J. Dorer Memorial Hardwood State Forest. It offers horse-friendly sites with cleared areas, picnic tables, fire rings, vault toilets, hand-pumped well, picket lines, tie rails, and manure disposal. Portable corrals are allowed. There are 72 horse campsites across North, Central, and West areas, all first-come, first-served. No reservations accepted. Primarily for horse camping; no running water or electricity. Open year-round with trails accessible in summer. Rates: Individual site without horses $14, Equestrian site $16, paid on site.
