Ribbon Lake Backcountry Campground is in Spray Valley Provincial Park. Ribbon Lake is a gem tucked away in the heart of Spray Valley. Enjoy the peace and tranquility at this site. Here there are tent pads, pit/vault toilets and secure food storage lockers. Access from Ribbon Creek Day Use Area is 10.8 km one-way via the Ribbon Creek Trail with 625 metres of elevation gain. On this trail there is a very steep section with chains to aid climbing between Ribbon Falls and Ribbon Lake. Access from Galatea Day Use Area is 10.8 km one-way via the Galatea Creek Trail/Guinn’s Pass Trail with 870 metres of elevation gain. Access from Buller Mountain Day Use Area is 10.1 km one-way via Buller Pass Trail with 670 metres of elevation gain. 20 sites at $12 per person per night. Water source: lake. Camping season: Jun 25 - Oct 15. Reservations can be made 90 days in advance. Maximum of 6 people and 1 tent per site with some exceptions. Firewood available. In Kananaskis Valley permit area.
