Reservoir Lake Campground and Picnic Area

High-elevation lakeside campground located at 7,000 feet on the southern shore of 11-acre Reservoir Lake in Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest. The campground features 16 designated campsites spread among pines and sagebrush with vault toilets, bear-resistant food storage boxes, and a primitive boat ramp (electric motors only). Parking aprons average 15' X 61' on dirt surfaces. The lake is non-motorized only. Amenities include picnic tables and scenic hiking trails. Fishing, swimming, and boating are available. Pets allowed on leash. Pack it in, pack it out. Stay limit 16 days. Open annually mid-June through September, weather dependent. $15 per night; additional $5 fee for extra vehicles.
