About this site

Reed & Green Bridge State Forest Campground is a small, rustic campground located on the banks of the Two Hearted River in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, approximately 30 miles north of Newberry in Luce County. The campground offers 7 sites suitable for tent and small trailer camping on a single loop. The Two Hearted River is a champion salmon and steelhead river, making this a popular destination for anglers in fall and spring. The river is also popular for kayaking and canoeing, with a carry-in launch area accessible from the campground. Amenities include vault toilets and potable water from a hand-pump well. There are no electrical, water, or sewer hookups. Sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis with a $20 overnight fee and a 15-day maximum stay limit. The campground is open year-round but roads are not plowed in winter. One camping unit and six people are allowed per site. The campground provides access to state land open to hunting and nearby ORV routes.
