RED TOP (Campground) Additional Info: Red Top Campground is a small, primitive campground with 3 campsites in Kootenai National Forest northwest of Troy, Montana, on Highway 508 at 3,000 feet elevation. First-come, first-served, open year-round depending on weather and road conditions. Actively managed Memorial Day through Labor Day. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. Vault toilet available. No potable water; pack out trash. Limited maneuvering room for trailers.
