Red Haw State Park Campground

Red Haw State Park campground offers 80 shaded campsites overlooking a 70-acre lake, with 60-61 sites featuring electrical hookups, paved roads, modern restrooms with showers, a playground, and a trailer dump station. The park includes a swimming beach, boat ramps for no-wake boating, fishing jetties, and trails. Reservations are required through the Iowa State Parks system from April 1 to November 30; the campground is 100% reservable with no first-come-first-served sites. Additional Info: Campground reopened in July 2025 after tornado repairs. Nightly rates $30-$35. Potable water spigots available; no water or sewer hookups at sites. Phone: 641.774.5632.
