Red Deer River North Campground
About this site
This small campground is found in Red Deer River Provincial Recreation Area, 60 km southwest of Sundre on Forestry Trunk Road (Hwy. 734). Sites are located on the north bank of the Red Deer River. This foothills campground provides excellent river access for rafting and for experienced canoers and kayakers. Additional Info: 14 family-friendly campsites available from the beginning of May to mid September. Vault toilets, pit toilets, coin-operated showers, fire pits, picnic shelters, water pumps, and free firewood. First come, first served. OHVs permitted on established roadways. Pack out garbage. Bring own drinking water, toilet paper, and hand sanitizer.
