Ranger Island is a boat-accessible island campsite in the Glen Island Group on Lake George, managed by New York State Parks. All sites in the group are accessible only by boat. Pets are prohibited on all Lake George Islands campsites. Reservations are required and can be made up to 9 months in advance via ReserveAmerica. The campground is currently closed through May 14, 2026. Additional Info: Ranger Island is part of the Glen Island Group located near Northwest Bay. Check-in is available at the Glen Island Ranger Station (boat access only) or the DEC office at Norowal Marina in Bolton Landing.
