Rainbow Valley Campground is the only campground within Edmonton, located in Whitemud Park on the southside. It offers 39 power sites (minimum 15 amp), 27 natural sites, weekly rates except during peak season, clean washrooms with free showers, a small convenience store, wood burning stoves, disposal/water station with city water, two large cook shelters, large playground/park area, nature trails, and easy access to public transportation. New comfort camping domes feature heated floors, queen bed with linens, and full furnishings. Open May to September, with 66 sites total, pet-friendly (leash required), free showers, laundry, and accommodates RVs up to 35 ft. Additional Info: Managed by Snow Valley, features sani-dump station, playground, trails to North Saskatchewan River, and proximity to Snow Valley Aerial Park.
