Rafter J Bar Ranch Campground offers a breathtaking retreat in the heart of South Dakota’s Black Hills. This expansive resort features spacious, full-hookup RV sites with stunning views, a heated pool, modern bathhouses, and direct access to hiking and biking trails. Guests can explore nearby Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, and the historic town of Keystone, all just a short drive away. The Rafter J Bar Ranch comprises five camping areas separated by Alpine meadows and shaded by large ponderosa pines. Choose a remote site, or camp close to the resort’s activity center. We offer electric, water and sewer sites along with many tent sites. Some sites have satellite TV hookups. Enjoy a crackling fire and quiet hours that begin at 10:00 P.M. There’s also full-time camp security. Enjoy our swimming complex which features the addition of a hot tub. We are located adjacent to the George Mickelson Hiking & Biking Trail. Our resort is also surrounded by National Forest with endless opportunities to hike and bike. The Rafter J Bar Ranch is the perfect headquarters for Black Hills sightseeing, minutes away from Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park and the 1880 Train. The Rafter J Bar Ranch & Campground is pet friendly.
