Racetrack Campground
About this site
Racetrack Campground is located in the Pintler Ranger District of Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest in southwest Montana at an elevation of 5,400 feet. The campground has 13 first-come, first-served campsites suitable for tents, trailers, and RVs, nestled among mixed conifers along the banks of Racetrack Creek. Sites include picnic tables and fire rings. Facilities include a water pump, two vault restrooms, and a group picnic area. The campground is accessible late May through mid-November, weather permitting. Camping fee is $15 per night. Maximum recommended trailer length is 22 feet. Visitors must pack out all trash and follow forest-wide food storage orders. Payment may be made via cash, check, or by scanning a QR code using the Recreation.gov mobile app at the campground.
