Racetrack Campground

Racetrack Campground is a developed USDA Forest Service campground located in the Pintler Ranger District of Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest near Deer Lodge, Montana. The campground sits at approximately 5,400 feet elevation along Racetrack Creek and offers 13 first-come, first-served campsites nestled among mixed conifers. Sites include picnic tables and fire rings, with vault toilets and a hand pump water system available. The campground provides a private, natural setting with some sites adjacent to an open meadow offering valley and hillside views. Maximum vehicle length is 22 feet. There is no garbage service, so visitors must pack out all trash. Cell service is not available in the area. The campground is open seasonally and requires payment of $15 per night.
