Additional Info: Rabbit Ears Campsite is a single backcountry site in Rocky Mountain National Park, located south of the trail in an open area surrounded by trees below a ridge with two upright rocks resembling rabbit ears. A wood sign and red arrowheads on trees mark the path. Elevation: 8,100 feet. Accessible 1.4 miles from Cow Creek Trailhead (1 hour), 5.0 miles from Lumpy Ridge Trailhead via Gem Lake, or 6.1 miles via Black Canyon Trail (5-7 hours). Camp safely away from standing dead trees, near the silver metal arrowhead.
