Quinsam Campground
About this site
Quinsam Campground (also known as Elk Falls Campground) is located within Elk Falls Provincial Park, 3km north of Campbell River on Highway 28 towards Gold River on Vancouver Island. The campground features 122 vehicle-accessible campsites in a forested setting, with 25 sites bordering the Quinsam River and the remainder set in second-growth forest. Each site includes a fire pit and picnic bench. The campground offers a popular trail network with viewing platforms at the 25-metre Elk Falls and a suspension bridge. Amenities include pit and flush toilets, potable water, a playground, fishing platform, and a sani dump for RVs. No electrical hookups are available. Reservations are strongly recommended during summer months; 51-52 sites are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Seasonal services operate April to October, though winter camping is available year-round with limited services and a $11 cash fee.
