Quaite Valley Backcountry Campground is located in Bow Valley Wildland Provincial Park, accessible via the Quaite Valley Trail from Heart Creek Day Use Area (4.7 km one way, 100 m elevation gain, rated easy) or Barrier Dam Day Use Area (8.6 km, 240 m elevation). It offers 20 tent sites (max 6 people and 1 tent per site), group firepits with firewood provided, pit/vault toilets, and secure food storage lockers. Water source from Jewell Creek (must be treated). Reservations required via Alberta Parks, $12 per person per night. Year-round camping. Additional Info: Quaite Valley Backcountry Campground is in the Bow Valley Wildland permit area. Reservations can be made 90 days in advance.
