Quaddick State Park

Quaddick State Park is a day-use recreation area in Thompson, Connecticut, centered around 408-acre Quaddick Lake with a sandy beach, unrestricted boat launch, swimming, fishing, picnicking, and a 1.5-mile hiking trail. Primarily day-use only (8:00 a.m. to sunset), with one reservable youth group camping site available by advance reservation for qualified organizations. Free for in-state registered vehicles; fees apply for out-of-state. Restrooms and changing areas available seasonally. Pets allowed on leash in picnic areas (not on beach). Alcohol prohibited. Additional Info: Park gates close after Columbus Day until April; restrooms closed for 2026 season.
