Purslane Run Hiker-Biker Campsite is located at canal milepost 156.9 in Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historical Park. Access is hike-in or bike-in, approximately 0.7 miles from the nearest access point. There is no fee. Available first-come, first-served with one night limit per site per trip. All sites have chemical toilet, picnic table, grill, and non-potable water pump. Water is turned off mid-November to mid-April and must be treated before use. Additional Info: Located near Oldtown MD along the C&O Canal Towpath.
