Pumphouse Wash (FR 237) Dispersed Camping Area
About this site
Pumphouse Wash is a free primitive campground established by Coconino National Forest for campers who want to stay close to Sedona and Flagstaff. It sits on State Highway 89A, and offers dozens of campsites large and small to accommodate just about sized vehicle. The campground is divided up into four “loops”. You are required to camp in of these four loops, and each loop has numbered sites. You are also required to camp in a numbered site. There are no reservations, it’s first come, first serve.
