Prior Flat Campground
About this site
Prior Flat Campground is a Bureau of Land Management campground with 15 primitive campsites on 9 acres at the foot of the Shirley Mountains. Each site has a picnic table, fire ring with grill, and parking spur. There is a vault toilet but no potable water, dump station, showers, electric, water, or sewer hookups. Fires are allowed. Pets are permitted. One pull-through site available. Typical season June 1 through November 15; roads may be impassable after heavy rain or snowmelt. 14-day stay limit within 28-day period per BLM rules. Additional Info: Surrounded by aspen, limber pine, lodgepole pine, big sagebrush. Wildlife includes pronghorn, mule deer, elk, coyotes, Greater Sage-grouse, golden eagles. Cell service available (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile).
