Prior Flat Campground
About this site
Prior Flat Campground is a BLM-managed campground with 15 campsites on about 9 acres at the foot of the Shirley Mountains in south-central Wyoming. It offers picnic tables, fire rings/grills, parking spurs, and one pull-through site. A vault toilet is available. The site operates on a first-come, first-served basis. No potable water is available; bring your own. Year-round access at 7,717 feet elevation among aspens and pines. Additional Info: 15 wooded sites sheltered by aspens and pines. Quiet location, often with few other campers. Convenient for exploring Shirley Mountain roads. BLM regulations require camping 100 feet from water sources, trails, and other campsites.
