Pretty Lake State Forest Campground is a rustic site nestled within the Pretty Lake Quiet Area, offering 18 drive-in sites suitable for tents and trailers of all sizes, plus eight paddle-in/walk-in sites along the chain of lakes. The quiet area designation allows for unmotorized use only on Pretty Lake and surrounding lakes including Brush, Camp 8, Long, Bullhead, and Beaverhouse lakes. Amenities include vault toilets, potable water from a hand-pump well, fire rings, and picnic tables at each site. A day-use picnic area features tables and a charcoal grill, with carry-in access 50 yards from parking. Overnight fees ($20 for most sites) and registration are posted at the information kiosk; no reservations, first-come first-served, 15-day maximum stay, one unit and six people per site. Popular for fishing splake, perch, and panfish, paddling, and hiking the 2.2-mile Pretty Lake Pathway.
