Post Pile Campground offers year-round camping with seven first-come, first-served campsites and access to the Crooked Wild and Scenic River along the Lower Crooked Back Country Byway. Views of Chimney Rock Buttes. Potable water available year-round at nearby Chimney Rock Campground (1.3 miles north on Hwy 27). No cell service. $8/night single site; $2/extra vehicle (max 2 vehicles/site, excludes tow vehicles). 14-day stay limit. Additional Info: BLM-managed with accessible restrooms and refuse containers per campground map. Named for nearby columnar basalt rock formations.
