Poplars Resort and Campground is located on Michigan's largest inland lake, Houghton Lake. The facility offers a safe sandy beach, shallow swim area, great fishing, boating and water skiing. Amenities include a long dock with boat anchoring, lake front units with kitchens and charcoal grills, shuffleboard, paddle boat rentals, water bikes, paddle boards, boat and motor rentals, volleyball, horseshoes, children's play equipment, a large game room with pinball machines, pool table, jukebox and video games, fish cleaning room and freezer. Camp sites are for self-contained units only.
