Small beach on the S side of the point. Gravel and pebbles at high tide. Rocks at low tide. Significant rips. Stairs to 5 upland sites within a Natural Area Preserve closed to the public. Views. Wildlife. Sunsets. No water. Additional Info: Probably the most remote campsite on the Cascadia Marine Trail. Located at the NW corner of Orcas Island in the San Juan Islands. 3 sites open to all boaters, each with picnic table and fire ring. Vault toilets available. No water. No fees. No reservations. Rock and sand shoals create significant rips. Forest closed to public. Climb stairs to campsites and viewpoints.
