Point Detour Wilderness Campground offers primitive tent camping with 21-25 rustic wooded sites on an overlook of Lake Superior and the Apostle Islands, a few miles north of Legendary Waters Resort & Casino (formerly Red Cliff Casino) in Bayfield County, Wisconsin. Sites are first-come, first-served; pay $25/night fee and register at the casino front desk (9 miles away via dirt road), obtain dashboard tags, select site, and notify casino. Free showers available at casino (schedule required). Features include pit toilets, trash, picnic tables; pets and fires allowed. Check-in 12PM, check-out 11AM. Stay 6 nights, get 7th free. Open mid-May to mid-October.
