Pinney Bridge State Forest Campground
About this site
This rustic campground is located on the Jordan River, Michigan's first designated scenic river. There are 15 tent sites that are accessible by hike-in only. The campsites are a short walk from the parking area, about 200 yards. Camping is limited to a 15-day maximum stay. Amenities include vault toilets and potable water from a hand-pump well. The campground is located 5.5 miles northwest of Alba via Alba Highway, M-66 and Pinney Bridge Road. Sites available on a first-come, first-serve basis. No reservations. Additional Info: Michigan's first scenic river provides a tranquil backdrop for 15 tent-only campsites. Brown and rainbow trout, steelhead and salmon can be found in the Jordan River. A Recreation Passport is required for vehicle entry. Overnight fees and registration procedures are posted at the information kiosk.
