This quiet peaceful campground is located off the beaten path within the Pigeon River Country State Forest. Six sites for tent and small trailer use secluded along the Pigeon River with access to miles of hiking the High Country Pathway. Rustic campground includes vault toilets and potable water from well hand pump. Recreation Passport required for entry. Additional Info: 6 first-come, first-served sites with no reservations. Overnight fee $20. Vault toilets and potable water from hand-pump artesian well available. No electricity. Maximum 15-day stay. Access to Pigeon River for fishing (brown, rainbow, brook trout) and paddling. Hiking on High Country Pathway. Hunting access on surrounding state land.
