Picayune Strand Horseshoe Primitive Campground is located within the Picayune Strand State Forest (Collier County), approximately 8 miles east of Naples, FL. There is no potable water or electric facilities available, but there is non-potable water available at the horse stalls. There are also fire rings, picnic tables and a portable restroom available. Recreational activities featured here are: horseback riding, bike riding, picnicking, bird watching, wildlife viewing and hiking. Additional Info: The campground offers 6 primitive tent-only sites that can accommodate up to 8 people per site with 1-2 tents and one vehicle. It serves as the eastern trailhead for 22 miles of equestrian trails. A pavilion is available for rent and there are 17-20 uncovered horse stalls.
