Picacho Peak State Park Campground
About this site
Picacho Peak State Park Campground is located just south of Interstate 10 approximately halfway between Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona. The campground features 85 electric sites spread across three paved loops (A, B, C) beneath the distinctive Picacho Peak landmark. Sites include paved RV pads with electric hookups (50 and 30-amp) and designated tent areas on sand with ramadas providing shade over picnic tables. The campground operates seasonally from September through May. RVs up to 105 feet are accommodated with both back-in and pull-through options available. Modern restroom facilities include individual locking showers. A dump station is available for RV use. Water hookups are unavailable due to drought conditions; potable water is not available at individual sites. Firewood is available for purchase at the camp store. The park gate closes at 10 PM, with self-check-in available for late arrivals at non-reserved sites. Cell service is strong throughout the area.
