Penrose Point State Park Campground
About this site
Penrose Point State Park Campground provides a richly forested camping experience on 237 acres of marine parkland on the shores of Puget Sound in Pierce County. The campground features 82 standard campsites designed for tents, trailers, and RVs up to 35 feet in length, plus one hiker/biker site and one Cascadia Marine Trail campsite. All sites are situated in shade or partial shade beneath a dense forest canopy. Amenities include restrooms with showers (operational May 15 to October 1), an RV dump station, drinking water, and fire pits at each site. Campground roads are narrow and winding. Open year-round with reservations available May 15 through September 15; first-come, first-served sites available September 16 through May 14. Pets allowed.
