Peekaboo Camp

Peekaboo Camp is a backcountry campsite at the end of the strenuous 10-10.8 mile roundtrip Peekaboo Trail (also accessed via Lost Canyon) in the Needles District of Canyonlands National Park. The trail features steep slopes, slickrock benches, canyon mazes, minor scrambling, and two wooden ladders. A backcountry permit is required for overnight camping. Pets are not allowed. Additional Info: Located in Salt Creek Canyon with prehistoric rock markings nearby. Year-round access but challenging conditions including sandy sections and potential winter ice.
