Paul M. Dimmick Campground

Paul M. Dimmick Campground is a 26-site primitive camping area located in Navarro River Redwoods State Park on Highway 128, six miles east of the Highway 1 junction near Albion, California. The campground sits at 118 feet elevation along the Navarro River at the confluence of the North Fork Navarro River and the Navarro River, nestled beneath second-growth redwoods. All sites operate on a first-come, first-served basis with no fees. Each campsite is furnished with a fire ring, picnic table, and paved parking pad. Amenities include vault toilets (winter) and flush toilets (summer), multiple water spigots for drinking water, and a generator use window from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The campground accommodates RVs up to 30 feet in length, though not all sites can accommodate vehicles of this size. No hookup services are available. The area is popular for swimming, fishing, boating, and kayaking, with an eight-mile paddle to the ocean. Pets are allowed on a six-foot leash. Cell service is not available.
