Parrot Placer Campsite

Parrot Placer is a primitive campsite along the Middle Fork of the Salmon River at river mile 86, located in the Frank Church-River of No Return Wilderness. It features a sandbar beach that varies in size and is positioned just below a read-and-run Class II rapid. Named for Earl Parrot, a local hermit who lived in the Impassable Canyon area.
