The Parish Cabin Campground sets along Bear Creek affording fishing opportunities. The campground is within minutes of Logan Valley an exceptional place for viewing wildflowers during spring and early summer. Hikers are within a short drive to trail heads leading into the beautiful Strawberry Mountain Wilderness. This campground is very popular with hunters. A wildfire burned through the area in 2012 and again in 2015; visitors have the unique ability to view the effects and benefits of wildfire in the surrounding countryside. Fee info: Overnight Use: Single Site: $8 per night Additional Vehicle Fee: $4 per vehicle per day Additional Info: 17 single sites and 1 double site. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. Potable water available only during warmer months (shut off early to mid-October until mid to late May or early June). First-come, first-served. Check-in 2:00 p.m., check-out 12:00 p.m., quiet hours 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Horses not allowed in campground or pastured in Bear Creek or adjacent meadow. No camping outside perimeter. No cell service. Pack-in/pack-out.
