About this site
Papago Well is a designated primitive campsite within Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge. The campground consists of a small number of sites with picnic tables. Wood fires are allowed at the site, and visitors must bring their own wood. There are no other facilities such as toilets or drinking water. The refuge is open late July through late March.
